FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SMALL SIGNALS TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM, “MISSED CONNECTIONS”
jUNE 13, 2017
Small Signals (Rochester, NY) is releasing their album “Missed Connections” on June 13, 2017. The album centers around Craigslist Missed Connections posts, using the actual words from the posts as lyrical content.
This led the man behind Small Signals, Stephen Roessner, to write each song in a different genre in order to evoke the frustration, joy, or awkwardness behind the anonymous author’s prose. What results is a 17-song album encapsulating the hope, despair, honesty, and sometimes desperation of the human spirit.
The album will be released on Amnot Records, and will be available on Bandcamp, iTunes, and Spotify, as well as a limited edition cassette.
Small Signals is Stephen Roessner, a Grammy-Award winning audio engineer and musician. He is a former member of Saxon Shore, Pleistocene,
Revengineers, and League.
He is also currently a member of Philadelphia based Williams Shift, and Rochester based Fuzzrod.
